Delicious Ploughman’s Plum Chutney is wonderful served the traditional way as part of a cold meat or cheese ploughman’s, or equally scrummy served alongside family favourite sausage and mash!
Expertly made with the finest ingredients – plums, apples, sultanas and spices – this is fantastically fruity chutney that can be used in dishes all seasons.
We’ve come up with 10 heavenly ways to use up the jar but let us know if you have any other favourites:
- Spread Ploughman’s Plum Chutney on to uncooked cheese straws, then twist 2 straws together prior to baking.
- Served alongside slow-roasted belly of pork.
- Add to filo pancakes with sliced spring onions, cucumber and crispy roast duck, roll up to serve.
- Stir into a lamb curry prior to serving with naan bread
- Wrap slices of mozzarella with parma ham, pan fry and serve with a spoonful of Ploughman’s Plum.
- Add a spoon to pastry tartlets, top with goats cheese and grill
- For a twist on traditional Ploughman’s, serve with sliced pork pies and scotch eggs.
- Slice a baguette lengthways, spread with Ploughman’s Plum, then add mayo, chicken and salad.
- Add a spoonful of Ploughman’s Plum to a quiche mix for a deeply savoury flavour
- Mix a little Ploughman’s Plum with sausagemeat for tangy sausage rolls
